Tip 02:
Olive Oil Hair Treatment

Extra virgin olive oil has great penetrating abilities for the skin and hair due to its high content of oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA), and antioxidants such as vitamin E and polyphenols. Because extra virgin olive oil contains these naturally therapeutic properties it is often an ingredient in Mediterranean hair and skin care products. We recommend the following hair treatments using extra virgin olive oil:

Moisturizer for Dry Hair

Dab a few drops of extra virgin olive oil on the palm of your hand.
Lightly stroke on dry or frizzy ends of wet or dry hair. Preferably on dry, styled hair.
Avoid putting oil directly on the scalp, as this will cause hair to become heavy and oily.

Deep-Conditioning Hair Masque for Normal Hair

Add a few drops of extra virgin olive oil to mashed avocados.
Shampoo hair.
Comb avocado and olive oil mixture into hair, avoiding scalp.
Let it work into hair for 10-20 minutes.
Rinse well. If hair feels too heavy, give it a light shampoo, and then lightly condition the ends with a mild conditioner for easy combing.
Style.

Deep-Conditioning Hair Masque for Damaged Hair

Shampoo hair using a shampoo for dry, chemically treated hair.
Add a tablespoon of warm extra virgin olive oil to ends of hair, avoiding scalp. (Warm the oil in a bath of hot water.)
Let the oil work into the hair for about 30 minutes.
Rinse well. If hair feels too heavy, give it a light shampoo, and then lightly condition the ends with a mild conditioner for easy combing.
Style.
